17th December 2011

A case of “Home and Away" today. All fine and ship-shape at All Saints as the U14s and U15s have comfortable victories. Meanwhile, on the road, the U16s and U18s seem to have come unstuck in Northants, not all of their own making we hear.

14th December 2011

Congratulations to Marko Backovic who will be representing England U16s in The Haris memorial tournament between Christmas and New Year . Click here

11th December 2011

The U16s get through to the quarter finals of the cup in cruise control, whilst the U18s join them with a quarter final home tie in January secured by beating Derby. Will it be a double header against Westminster Warriors? Confirmation to come later. Well done to both teams.

U13 and U16 reports from yesterday posted on website.

10th December 2011

Mixed emotions today as the U14s bounce back well against Leeds Tigers and the U16s march on against Derby. Meanwhile the U13s didn’t manage to hit their stride against Leeds Carnegie and the U18s away form is still causing them concern.

Can the U16s and U18s get to the quarter finals of the cup tomorrow, we hope so!

4th December 2011

A long journey back from the North East as the U18s lose today. Saturday reports from the U13s and U16s now posted.

3rd December 2011

Some good results today with the U13s having to stage a comeback to overcome Newcastle, the U15s digging deep to defeat local rivals Doncaster and the U16s eventually seeing off Cheshire. Disappointment for the U14s in Newcastle, but as we’ve seen before they can bounce back. All the best to the U18s tomorrow.

2nd December 2011

Just a quick update, the website seemed to have been the victim of a copy and paste error for the U18s venue. Just to confirm it is at Tyne Metropolitan College.

All the best for the teams this weekend; the three teams up in the North East (U13s, U14s and U18s) and the U16s in Cheshire. Meanwhile we hope the U15s make the best of their home fixture. Score updates via twitter and Facebook planned as normal.

17th November 2011

Good results this weekend would see the U13s, U16s and U18s start to cement their positions at the top of their tables. The U14s will be rallying to put last weekend’s nail biter behind them to launch their attack on the table. Let’s hope the results go the right way and all the best to the teams.

Weekend reports from U16s and U18s now posted.

13th November 2011

A very busy weekend, we hope we got all the matches reported correctly. What cannot be denied is a seven out of eight winning weekend for our teams (an unfortunate OT defeat by 2 for the U14s in the last match today). Well done to players, family, supporters and those that help organise the festival of basketball we’ve just seen.
